Let’s Get Real

The most important thing for you to know is our approach to everything that we do, and that’s with care and heart. Like, 110% of our hearts. More often than not, our couples become our friends.

First Things First…

Everyone has something special to share, a story of their own to tell, and we are there FOR IT. We want to hear about your dreams and aspirations, as well as silly fears and most embarrassing stories. In the beginning of any session, if you’re local to the area we’ll try and meet up for a coffee or a pint, whatever is your cup of tea. This is a chance to get all the nervous jitters out of the way, because trust us, we get them ALL the time still! We learn more about your love story and what makes you two unique so that we can help share that through photos.

You can expect…

Some deep talk from Leah, some dry humor from Joe, some giggles, maybe shed a tear, but overall, a lovely time hanging out two people you’ll (hopefully!) consider friends by the end of the session. We’ll be asking you to tell us some stories while directing you in positions that will feel organic. We’ll ask you to put your guard down, because we’re about that honesty and raw emotions. Yeah, it might feel weird, because right now you’re thinking we’re complete strangers. But we promise by the time we reach the session date, you won’t feel like that.

Adventure Wedding and Elopement Photography

promising forever to the person you love, in a place that makes you feel alive

We not only love adventurous intimate weddings and elopements because that’s what we did (ask us about it, it’s a pretty cute story), but because they are whatever you want it to be. There are no expectations from anyone else on your big day when you decide to elope with just the two of you. And the people you do invite know and love you two for who you are.

We aren’t above climbing up mountains (even if it makes us wanna pass out sometimes), getting wet crossing rivers, or anything else that comes into play to get to the perfect location to celebrate your day. And if you don’t have a specific spot in mind, we’ll be happy to share some of our favorites, or we’ll find one for you!

our goal is to capture your love how it is in a special place that you’ll remember forever.

Regardless if you want to elope in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains in our main location of Asheville, North Carolina, or if you want to hop on a plane and travel to the black sand beaches of Iceland, there’s nowhere too far away that we wouldn’t want to tag along to. We’re there for you, your big day, and to make it however you want it to be by assisting anyway we can, as well as capturing it along the way.

Frequently Asked Questions

How far do you travel?

We’re crazy about traveling, so if you’ve got somewhere special in mind, we’re down. And if you’re not quite sure where to go, we’re happy to scope out or provide some ideas! We’ve done some traveling ourselves and have seen some gorgeous sites that we’re happy to share with you.

how many people is considered an elopement?

There are no rules to this! It’s however many people you want, but generally speaking we consider an elopement to be no more than 30 people. An elopement is more about the two of you, but if you’ve got friends and family that are dying to be there too (and you want them there also), then go for it and invite them!

How many hours of coverage is an elopement?

After chatting about your ideal elopement we’ll figure out hours of coverage together, but our packages start with at least 2 hours.

Can I add-on anything else to the package?

Yes! We offer Day After Sessions, which is essentially an opportunity for you two to get back in your wedding attire and adventure somewhere other than your elopement spot for additional photos without the stress of family and friends. It’s the perfect time to enjoy that honeymoon phase because you just got hitched! And it’s also a chance for us to explore somewhere new and capture even more photos.

What’s the expected turn around time for our gallery?

We’re just as anxious as you are, trust me! We’ll send you a sneak peak of a few images within 24-48 hours of the big day. You can expect your full gallery within 5-6 weeks. Depending on our workload, we could possible have it to you before then! But we like to make sure we take our time with your gallery just like everyone else’s.
